She can see patients aged 2 years onwards with the following Minor Illnesses and prescribe when necessary-
Earache Abdominal pain Sinusitis Sore throat Cystitis Eczema Thrush
Sickness Diarrhoea Conjunctivitis Tonsillitis Chest Infections Skin problems
Monday to Friday 08:30-12:00 & 14:30-18:30

The nurses can discuss general health problems, give health education advice, vaccinations, some travel immunisations & perform general nursing procedures including ear syringing.
Alternate Mondays 09:00 - 15:00
In addition to General Surgeries, the Doctors provide a range of other medical services, including minor operative procedures Medicals etc.
The Doctors & Midwife hold ante-natal clinics on a shared care basis. Please contact Reception to make a booking appointment with our Midwife if you discover you are pregnant, or call Maternity Reception at QEII Hospital. To speak to the duty midwife on 01707 365159 for general advice/guidance.

Contraception advice by appointment with the nurse. Emergency contraception is also available. All family planning advice & treatment is, of course, confidential at any age.

For child health surveillance (well children only please). Run by & details from:
(e.g. Insurance, Pre-employment, H.G.V. & elderly driving medicals) are by appointment. The BMA recommended fee will be charged. As this is a private, a non-NHS, service an appointment will be offered at the doctors earliest time
We have a trained & experienced Counsellor in Ware, who is available by appointment on referral by your doctor. Please ask the Doctors or at reception for details. A £40 per session fee is chargeable.
Please call between 09:30am and 4.30pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
People with learning disabilities have poorer physical and mental health than other people and die younger. Many of these deaths are avoidable and not inevitable. Doing annual health checks can identify undetected health conditions early, ensure the appropriateness of ongoing treatments and establish trust and continuity of care.

For ALL TRAVEL ENQUIRIES, please contact a TRAVEL HEALTH CLINIC such as Nomad or Boots who can offer FREE CONSULTATIONS and comprehensive advice on travel health from specially trained nurses.
If any of the following are advised by the travel clinic, they are available free on the NHS and can be given at the surgery. An appointment will need to be made with the Practice Nurse.
If you are advised you need Malaria tablets we can also arrange for them on a private prescription should you be advised that you require them.
We can provide you with a printout of your electronically held immunisation history. If you feel that the records we hold are incomplete please let us know.
