IMPORTANT NOTICE

Flu Vaccinations 2017

 We will be holding our annual flu clinic on:

Saturday 14th October 2017 at Much Hadham Health Centre between 8.30am and 11.30am

Patients who are eligible for a FREE flu vaccination include:

All patients aged 65 years and over

Pregnant women

Carers

Diabetic

Children aged 2 or 3 on 31st August 2016 ( 4 -8 yr olds are being offered flu vaccination at school)

Please make an appointment by ringing 01279 842242 and speaking to one of the reception team.

If you are eligible for a free flu jab on the NHS but do not wish to have one please let us know so we can update your medical record.

For the purposes of the flu jab, a carer means a person who is in receipt of a carer’s allowance, or a person who is the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer falls ill. If you are unsure whether you qualify for a free flu jab please contact the surgery and ask.

Local GPs work together to provide an out of hour service at night, weekends & Bank Holidays.  Please access this service as detailed below-

  • Also, the Herts & Essex Hospital has a Minor Injuries unit open weekdays 09:00-16:00 & you are free to attend unless aged under 2
  •  Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

 

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
